UNICEF Lebanon is calling on young people in Lebanon to come together and try to solve a series of grand challenges CODIV-19 has imposed on us, and positively impact communities while developing sustainable income generation opportunities. We believe in the power of youth and believe in their capacity to empower people, communities and economy to become better pandemic resilient.
This challenge offers you the opportunity to build employability and entrepreneurship skills. As you go along this challenge, you will learn to:
• Discover how COVID-19 is impacting different stakeholders in different ways;
• Define these challenges from a human-centered design perspective, and
• Develop innovative solutions to these challenges
You’ll start by widening your knowledge in human and sector needs related to COVID-19 pandemic through reading the case study. You will then turn findings into challenges and focus on a specific challenge that you would like to solve. By using the online tools and techniques that we will provide you, you will generate an idea to solve the challenge you’ve identified and prototype a solution.
Rewards:
• Everyone who finishes this challenge and pitch their idea will receive a certification of completion from UNICEF
• Five projects will receive 500$ in seed funding and receive additional incubation services
