Huawei is a leading global Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solution provider, Huawei Certification System is well - recognized and is becoming a standard for ICT talent cultivation. In order to promote ICT industry technology certification, develop ICT industry talent and a strong ecosystem, Huawei would like to invite Lebanese University students to the "Huawei ICT Competition"

Invited participants:
1- Students should be at least in their second university year, undergraduates only;
2- Enrolled in Telecommunication, Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences or any ICT related major.

Two of the three winners in 2019 were students at the Lebanese University; they formed Lebanon team and were chosen from a field of 25 finalists, who competed following the preliminary round involving entries from 14 universities. Over the course of 2019, the competition attracted more than 21,000 student registrations from 437 colleges and universities in Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, KSA and the UAE.

In 2019, the first prize of US$30,000 went to the team from Lebanon.
